Outlook - Removing Old Email Addresses

Overview

At times, if a client migrates to a different email service your local outlook still sometimes "remembers" the old email location.

If the mailbox is still active at the "old" location, emails run the chance of being delivered to the old inbox.

To prevent this happening, please follow along with the below steps.

Method/Steps

1. Open a new email window within your outlook client and type the users name.

2. Using the arrows on your keyboard, arrow up and down until the required user is selected and either click the X next to their name, or press Delete on your keyboard.

3. Then, type their full email address manually within your outlook.

This will refresh the email within your Outlook and ensure your emails are received at the correct location moving forward.
