Windows Multifactor - Microsoft 365 Reauthentication Steps

Overview

Your company has been configured with Microsoft Multi Factor, and your Computer has been joined to Intune.

What this means, is that any computer you log into with your work Login Account will automatically log you into majority of your 365 services without requiring additional username and password prompts. To ensure you are the correct user, Multi-Factor is required to 'confirm' this connection.

Account Re-Activation - Multi Factor Enabled Users

Depending on the reactivation limits your company has chosen, you should see the following prompt occur on your computer on your first login, and anywhere between every 30 days or every 365 (once a year):

You can also find this prompt by clicking the notification icon on your task bar:

Clicking these prompts will bring you into the accounts setting within Windows.

Click the "Fix now" button. This should prompt an Authentication window, and your Mobile should automatically receive a push request for approval.

Approve this request on your mobile, and your account is fixed!

These steps will ensure your account remains properly activated, and this in turn will keep your Windows 10 Enterprise licence activated, along with any of the features that you are using.
