Introduction
Congratulations! Your company has pushed ahead of the pack and is now ensuring the security of your network with two factor authentication. That is, enforcing your users to use not only the standard username and password, but a second authentication form that cannot be obtained by hackers. This is referred to within the IT Industry as two factor authentication.
Consulting IT will have sent you a setup SMS to your nominated mobile, or alternatively an enrollment email, and this guide will show you how to use this soft token to login to your systems.
Always Keep With You
As this token will now be your two factor authentication, you should always ensure your mobile is charged and within reach.
You can add a secondary mobile to your account if required, at no additional cost - this will ensure you always have a method of accessing your systems. Please contact Consulting IT support from the details listed at the bottom of this article if you wish to setup a secondary mobile device.
Logging into Windows with a Mobile Token
When you log into a system that requires two factor authentication, you will get the following prompt on your workstation screen, followed by a prompt on your primary mobile device.

Mobile Prompt:
On your mobile device, press the green "Approve" button. This will then automatically complete your two factor and automatically log you into your computer.
You have just completed your two factor authentication and can now continue working within your computer as normal!
