Placing a Call

Using the handset:

  • Pick up the handset.
  • Enter the number, and then press the Send soft key.

Using the speakerphone:

  • With the handset on-hook, press the left icon
  • Enter the number, and then press the Send soft key.

 

Answering a Call

  • Using the handset:
    • Pick up the handset.
  • Using the speakerphone:
    • Press the speakerphone icon above.

Ending a Call

  • Using the handset:
    • Hang up the handset or press the Cancel soft key
  • Using the speakerphone:
    • Press  the speakerphone icon above or the Cancel soft key

Redial

Press the left icon the enter the placed call list. Press the up and down arrow keys to select the desired entry and then press the left icon or the Send soft key.

You can also press the left icon twice to dial out the last dialed number.

Call Hold and Resume (User only can access the call)

To place a call on hold:

  • Press the Hold soft key during an active call.

To resume the call, do one of the following:

  • If there is only one call on hold, press the Resume soft key.
  • If there is more than one call on hold, press the up and down keys to select the desired call, and then press the Resume soft key.

Park Calls

Calls can be placed into Park as an alternative to Hold.  You can use call park to place a call on hold, and then retrieve the call from another phone in the system.  

To place a call in park:

  • Press the Park soft key during an active call, you will hear a voice prompt confirming the call was parked and to which park line.

To resume the call,

  • Press the key for the parked line, either Park 1 or Park 2.

Call Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
  2. Enter the extension number you want to transfer to, and then press the HASH key.
  3. Let the recipient know who the caller is.
  4. Press the Transfer soft key.

Call pickup

To pick up an incoming call to another extension press **#.

Voicemail

  1. Press *98# on the keypad
  2. Enter your extension number
  3. Enter your voicemail password (this is the extension number by default)

Note that the first time you do this, you will be prompted to set up your message and password. Follow the voice prompts to complete this.

Call History

If you have a flashing red light on the handset, it usually means you have missed calls. To view these, press the History soft key
