Every day at 9am you will receive a Daily Digest report from mailguard, outlining the emails that were flagged as SPAM to your account.
If you check through this list and find any emails that have been mistakenly flagged as SPAM, you can request these be released.
If you fully trust the sender of these emails, you can additionally request the sender is always exempt from the SPAM filter to ensure their emails always flow through to you.
Requesting a Release
Within your daily digest, every captured email should have a "Release Message" button.
Click this button to be taken to the release request website.
Click the release message to instantly have this message delivered to your inbox.
Requesting a Release and Whitelist the Sender (Always Allow their Emails)
If you trust the sender of the blocked emails to always send legitimate emails, you can exempt them from the SPAM filter.
Using the same "Release Message" link from your Daily Digest email, instead of just clicking "Release Message" within the website straight away, toggle the "Automatically release similar messages from this sender" from No to Yes.
You will then be presented with a request reason - type in a quick reason as to why this user is safe to exempt and click "Release Message"
This request will then be sent to Consulting IT to add this user to the whitelist, and release your email at the same time. Once Consulting IT have processed this, your email should be released into your inbox and all future emails from this sender will not be flagged as SPAM.
