Overview
Installed on your desktop is a program called “Consulting IT Support”.
This program gathers the information that Consulting IT might require to determine the health of your computer, which includes any error messages that popped up on your screen, and packages this directly into their ticketing system for review. Along with automatically gathering this machine health data, the program will ask you some very basic questions.
Once this information has been filled in, a new ticket will be logged with the Consulting IT Support Desk, along with sending them all of the diagnostics information from your PC to allow the team to quickly identify any issues!
You can keep an eye on this new ticket, along with all of your open tickets via Consulting IT’s Ticket Portal, by browsing to https://consultingit.halopsa.com/portal and clicking the “Sign in with Microsoft” button.
How To Use
Quick steps for submitting a computer issue via this tool:
1. Double click the Consulting IT Support icon on your desktop
2. When prompted, fill in your name and email address – you can also check mark if this is a reoccurring issue to better advise the team!
3. Once you click the “Click here to submit an issue” you will be able to provide further information. Please provide as much detail as you can along with indicating if:
- This is an emergency
- This issue occurred on another PC
Added, you can let Consulting IT know how to contact you, and how widespread this issue is affecting your team.
And that’s it!
Consulting IT will receive your ticket, details and Computer Health report and get back to you!
